About this Event

Young people are disrupting the status quo all over the world. They are challenging existing systems to find new pathways for a collective future. Unlike the “old power” models that are centralised and closed, young people are thinking and working like movements -- distributed, open, participatory and peer-driven.

We are "ensembling" with two youth-led networks based in North and South America, Youth Climate Lab and 100in1day. Even though the origin and the focus of these two networks are different, there are similar challenges and questions asked by the young people leading the movement. This session brings together insights and learnings from both movements and other emerging youth-led change groups.

This session will be an "Open Ensemble" -- a global workshop for curated groups of 20 people from around the world who can provide different perspectives on a particular issue, a shared challenge or an interest area. Open Ensembles are similar to thematic breakouts discussions at an in-person gathering.
