Day 1 | February 10th - All day

Featuring:

Music — LUX SONORE (Trans. The Sound Emitting Light) Toward the Accordance, for bass clarinet and organismic analogue synthesizer Lyra

Poems — 1. Listen... 2. Response with Re / REimagine

Both poems – Listen and RE — appear in music arrangement as part of the Final Symphony: Sounding Together. Listen to Listen and resonate to RE!

I hope my works stimulate calmness-hunting and way-of-life-finding. I believe they can mirror the process of getting ready for a journey which is cyclical and repetitive, like breathing, like night and day, like ebb and flow - inhale and exhale. What is the destination, one could ask? I would say it’s harmony, Unity. I wish you a good trip.

Can plants sing?

Listen to the Song of Nature: Live Plant and Harp Music Lunch and Learn Event

In this Lunch N Learn you'll learn how we can hear the song of nature through the innovative Music of the Plants machine. Developed in Damenuhr, Italy, the machine translates electromagnetic variations of a living house plant into electronic sound. Eily will then improvise with her harp with some of her house plants as well as share her journey of creating her individual project, The Song of Nature: Meditations to Re-Connect and Co-Create.

The plants in our homes can be a great source of comfort, and this Lunch N Learn workshop will help you appreciate them even more. So grab your lunch, and your favourite houseplants, and join Artist Composer Eily Aurora for a heart-warming experience. Bring your kids!
